Canadian Niagara Power 'CNP" requires a power interruption/outage for customers in the following areas:
- Street(s) Affected: Townline Road
- Approximate Number of Customers Affected: 161
- Date of Outage: Tuesday August 18th, 2026
- Alternative Date: Wednesday August 19th, 2026
- Start Time: 8:00am
- End Time: 12:00pm
This planned power outage/interruption is required for CNP to safely perform necessary upgrades and or maintenance to the electrical distribution system in the above noted area(s). This planned outage is required so crews can safely complete work and switch the power supply serving this area. This will ensure the safety of both the public and our crews, and helps to maintain reliable service moving forward. If the work is postponed, the outage will take place the following day, Wednesday, August 19th at the same time. CNP attempted to advise customers, with current contact information in our Customer Information System via an automated telephone call. If you did not receive an automated telephone call and you reside in the area(s) noted above, please contact our Customer Service Department to ensure we have your current contact information.
For safety reasons, please do not perform any electrical work at the same time as this planned outage/interruption. All customer work requires scheduling directly with CNP.
CNP will perform this work in an effective and efficient manner, circumstances may arise that shorten or extend these events, we will always work to minimize or avoid these events, such as equipment failure, inclement weather, scope of work etc.
