Canadian Niagara Power Inc. is a community focused organization and an active participant in the growth and prosperity of the Niagara Region in Ontario. We are proud of the many community programs we either sponsor or participate in. Support for United Way of Niagara

Our 2025 Contribution: In 2025, Canadian Niagara Power and our employees proudly contributed approximately $30,218 to the United Way of Niagara, helping support programs that many local families rely on.

Our Long‑Term Support: Since 2015, our employees and company have donated over $221,415 in support to United Way initiatives across Niagara. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this work.

23 Years of Sponsorship at Port Colborne’s Canal Days

For the 23 years in a row, Canadian Niagara Power sponsored Port Colborne’s Annual Canal Days. This event draws more than 300,000 people over the four-day festival to the City of Port Colborne.

United Way Firetruck Pull Kick‑Off

A team from CNP took part in the United Way Kick‑off Firetruck Pull. Their group placed 15th out of 20 teams. Funds raised from the event will support nearly 100 community agency programs, helping provide an important safety net for women and families in the area.

United Way Hygiene Kit Assembly Day

A group of CNP employees volunteered with the United Way in Port Colborne during an Ambassador Engagement Session at Chestnut Place. The team assembled 125 Hygiene Kits, each filled with essential items to help provide comfort and dignity to individuals facing hardship.

SPCA Community Supply Drive

CNP organized a successful SPCA Supply Drive to support the Fort Erie SPCA. Employees contributed a variety of essential items, helping provide much‑needed supplies for animals in care.

Holiday Toy Drive for the Crystal Ridge Dream Centre

CNP employees donated toys to the Crystal Ridge Dream Centre’s annual Toy Drive, helping support families in need during the holiday season. Employees contributed a wide variety of gifts, all aimed at bringing joy and a brighter Christmas to children and families in the community.
