Community Involvement

In 2024, Canadian Niagara Power and its employees proudly contributed approximately $31,800 to the United Way of Niagara. Canadian Niagara Power was awarded the 2023 Campaign of the Year Award at the Annual United Way Breakfast. Since 2015, Canadian Niagara Power with its employees have donated more than $218,000 to the local United Way. 

For the 22 years in a row, Canadian Niagara Power sponsored Port Colborne’s annual Canal Days. This event draws more than 300,000 people over the four-day festival to the City of Port Colborne.

Our Town, Our Home
Canadian Niagara Power donated $10,000 to support the "Our Town, Our Home" community fundraising campaign by the Lions Club, along with the Lion's Douglas Heights Senior Residence Inc. This campaign aims to build new affordable living apartment for seniors in Fort Erie.
