CNP Proud to Support Hospice Care in Our Community

Today, Canadian Niagara Power presented Hospice Niagara with a $25,000 donation toward its Close to Home campaign for Willson House in Fort Erie. Glen King, President and CEO; Jeff Hoover, Regional Manager; and Kristine Carmichael, Director, Corporate and Customer Services, of Canadian Niagara Power, were on-site to present the cheque to Maureen Weaver and Alicia Merry from Hospice Niagara. 

“We are proud to contribute to a Hospice that will provide comfort, compassion, and dignity to families when they need it most. This facility will make a meaningful difference in our community for years to come,” says Glen King. 

Construction of Willson House, which is located beside Gilmore Lodge, is underway and is targeted to be completed towards the end of the year. Once completed, the new centre will add 10 beds in Fort Erie, ensuring residents have access to compassionate, dignified care within their community and providing resources for family members.
