2011 United Way Campaign

November 23, 2011 (Fort Erie, ON)  Canadian Niagara Power Inc. (CNPI) presented the United Way of Niagara Falls and Greater Fort Erie a cheque in the amount $26,464.  This amount represents the employees’ donation of $13,232 plus CNPI’s corporate match, which is dollar for dollar.   This is a 17% increase over last years’ donations and in addition employee participation increased by 30% in 2011.  Canadian Niagara Power is proud to be such an integral part of the annual campaign in Fort Erie and prides itself as one of the top contributors in the town.

CNP Donates $10,000 to Fort Erie Boys & Girls Club in 2010
 

December 13, 2010 (Fort Erie, Ontario) - Canadian Niagara Power Inc. announced today that it is proud to donate $10,000 to the new Fort Erie home of the Boys & Girls Club of Niagara. This donation is toward the purchase of energy efficient appliances to support the completion of the Club’s permanent location. This donation was made possible through an initiative between CNPI and the Ontario Power Authority’s Conservation programs.

CNP Donates $6,500 to Reach Out CentreDecember 10, 2010 (Port Colborne, Ontario) - Canadian Niagara Power Inc. (CNPI) announced today that it is making a donation to the Port Cares Reach Out Centre in Port Colborne in the amount of $6,500. This donation is for the installation of energy efficient renovations to support the completion of the Centre’s capital building project. This donation was made possible through an initiative between CNPI and the Ontario Power Authority’s Conservation programs.

Canadian Niagara Power Donates a $15,000 to Fort Erie Skate ParkOctober 21, 2009 (Fort Erie, Ontario) - Canadian Niagara Power Inc. (“CNPI”) announced today that it is making a $15,000 donation in support of the new Fort Erie Skate Park. This donation will be earmarked for the purchase of new high efficient electric lighting being installed at the park. This donation was made possible through an initiative agreement between CNPI and the Ontario Power Authority’s Conservation programs.
