Canadian Niagara Power 'CNP" requires a power interruption/outage for customers in the following areas:
- Street(s) Affected: Abino Dunes Rd, Abino Hills Rd, Bay Woods, Bluff Rd, Boughman Rd, Brown Rd, Cherry Hill Blvd, Cherry Hill Blvd S, Erie Rd, Juniper Ln, Kendrick Ln, Lakewood Ave, North Forest Rd, Point Abino Rd S, Rosewood Ave, South Dune Rd, South Shore Rd, Walker Ln and Westwood Ave
- Approximate Number of Customers Affected: 345
- Date of Outage: Wednesday June 10th, 2026
- Alternative Date: Thursday June 11th, 2026
- Start Time: 8:30am
- End Time: 9:30am
This planned power outage/interruption is required for CNP to safely perform necessary upgrades and or maintenance to the electrical distribution system in the above noted area(s). This planned outage is required so crews can safely complete work and switch the power supply serving this area. This will ensure the safety of both the public and our crews, and helps to maintain reliable service moving forward. If the work is postponed, the outage will take place the following day, Thursday, June 11th at the same time. CNP attempted to advise customers, with current contact information in our Customer Information System via an automated telephone call. If you did not receive an automated telephone call and you reside in the area(s) noted above, please contact our Customer Service Department to ensure we have your current contact information.
For safety reasons, please do not perform any electrical work at the same time as this planned outage/interruption. All customer work requires scheduling directly with CNP.
CNP will perform this work in an effective and efficient manner, circumstances may arise that shorten or extend these events, we will always work to minimize or avoid these events, such as equipment failure, inclement weather, scope of work etc.
